Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Giclée?

Giclee printing is a high-quality method that uses specialized printers to produce museum-grade reproductions of original artwork. The process is known for its ability to accurately capture fine details and vibrant colours, making it a popular choice for reproducing works of art.
A professional printer combines 12 pigment based archival-grade inks and uses museum grade materials, in this case canvas.
As a result the color matching is almost exact to the original.
Giclee prints retain tonality and hue, therefore images last for decades without colors changing, fading or yellowing.

Can I order a custom print size?

Most often, yes! Contact me with the piece of art and size needed and we can go from there.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Returns & Cancellations
Because all of our art prints are made to order, all sales are final, with no refunds.
We offer exchanges within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. You may exchange a print for another print of equal or greater value. Prints must be undamaged and be returned in original condition and packaging. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with an exchange, paying any difference in price.
Because all art prints are made to order, they may only be cancelled if the print has not yet been processed (printed). Print schedules vary, sometimes taking place the day of order, therefore cancellations are not guaranteed. Due to costs associated with every order a 5% cancellation fee, based on the total cost of your cancelled order, will be deducted from your refund (when cancellation is possible).
Damaged, lost, or stolen artwork must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery date. Order number, photos of the damaged artwork, the exterior and interior view of the packaging that artwork arrived in must accompany report/replacement request. No refunds will be given.
Seconds Sale or any other sale: All sales are final.
Cancellations, exchanges and refunds are not available.
All original art sales are final. Cancellations, exchanges and refunds are not available.

Can I request prints be printed on canvas? And can they be stretched?

Yes, you may request canvas rather than our fine art paper. Our canvas prints can be stretched. I suggest taking it to a professional framer. When opting to stretch your print be sure to add the "option" of a 2" border to your order. The border can be printed or white, select whichever you prefer.

Who owns the copyright when you buy an original painting or a print?

If you buy a piece of artwork, you will own the art, but you will ot own the copyright to it unless the artist has speifically transferred the copyright to you, therefore you may not reproduce the art under any circumstandes without written permission.
